Abstract:

This project proposes the use of causal inference methods in precision medicine. It aims to integrate various health data sources to understand the causal relationships between treatments and outcomes, accounting for confounding factors and biases.
Particular attention will be paid to applying causal inference to develop gene association studies for disease-specific drug development and to understand the temporal relationship between medication exposure and health outcomes.
