Major Research topic:
Exploring disease mechanisms and patients? risk stratification through integration of multi-omic and environmental data
Abstract:
This project proposes the application of statistical and machine learning models to multi-omics data to investigate the impact of genetic variations on cellular processes in human biology. It will be achieved by developing single-cell quantitative trait locus (scQTL) mapping methodologies, with the integration of multiple data sources and the incorporation of environmental factors. The project will also focus on the risk stratification of patients for the development of personalized therapies.
